Trish Haight holds an MA in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), CSAT-1, Intermediate Level of Somatic Experiencing, and ASSECT certifying as a Clinical Sexologist. She is on staff at The Institute for Sexual Health (ISH) and has a private practice located in W. Los Angeles. In working with clients, she integrates a selection of modalities such as BodyMind, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Theory (MBCT), Emotion Focus Couples Therapy (EFCT), Attachment Theory and Psychodynamic.
Trish has worked several years in the field of psychotherapy, most specifically helping those with trauma to transform their lives. She has done broad work in body-mind connection, trauma wound healing, relational therapy, and female sexuality. At the core of Trish’s work is empowerment and reclaiming oneself from fragmentation. Her focus is solidifying an integrated self while developing resiliency, which can lead to increased tolerance capacity and trauma regulation and resolution.
Trish has done extensive work with clients using whole-self experiencing and embodiment modalities that foster a balanced and regulated existence. She has developed workshops to empower those with cancer as well as focuses on relational, developmental, and shock traumas that have emerged dissociated behaviors and dysregulated functioning.
At ISH, Trish brings her skills in trauma regulation working within programs such as spouses/partners of sex addicts; sex addiction; and cancer, sexuality, intimacy. She does workshops, groups, and individual sessions.
